Chemistry is taught as a standalone subject from Year 7 onwards. The post-holder will be required to teach across the school. The ability to work successfully as a member of an enthusiastic and proactive team, with an energetic and willing approach, is essential. Candidates should be able to teach up to and including GCSE and A Level. Experience of teaching the IB Diploma Programme, and/or experience of supporting applications to competitive university courses, would be desirable. We currently teach Edexcel Chemistry at A Level and Edexcel IGCSE at GCSE. All staff are expected to contribute to the thriving extra-curricular programme on offer at the School.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience. Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.
