Overview

Role: Teacher of Business and Computer Science

Location: Strode

Salary: £25-32 p / h

Start date: January

We are working with a vibrant college in Strode who are seeking someone to teach Computer Science and Business to Level 3 learners with demonstrable enthusiasm for the subjects. To ensure high quality student learning through the most effective, efficient, and economic use of the College’s resources.

We require you to be a competent leader capable of maintaining student morale and discipline inside and outside the classroom within the college site and in conjunction with College Management.

Responsibilities
  • Effective delivery of a teaching programme within the areas of competence of the post holder paying due regard to student progression towards successful and value-added completion.
  • Regular assessment of student progress and preparation of appropriate progress reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely data and information including registers, withdrawals and transfers, assessment and examination results, progress reports.
  • Maintain student morale and discipline inside and outside the classroom within the college site and in conjunction with College Management.

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PTTLS, DTTLS etc.)
