Job description
What skills and experience we're looking for

Potential applicants should be:

  • A trainee teacher who is successfully completing placement(s) teaching in KS3, 4 or 5 (applicants currently in training).
  • A colleague with a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at one or more of KS3, 4 or 5 (applicants who have already gained Qualified Teacher Status).

Applicants should have:

  • A strong honours degree in Mathematics, or in a subject containing a considerable amount of Pure Mathematics.
  • Passionate commitment to the power of education to ‘change the deal’ for disadvantaged students.
  • A detailed knowledge of current developments in education, including the effective use of the Pupil Premium and/or the 16–19 Bursary Award.
  • The ability to put vision into practice.
