Qualifications

  • Valid UK Driving Licence preferred.

Overview

Home Instead East Northants is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Care Assistants to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.

We currently have Part-Time Care vacancies available with immediate starts. We have tea time & evening shifts available. We're looking for Care Professionals who may already have experience as a Support Worker or in Domiciliary Care or those without experience looking to become a Care Assistant as full training will be given.

  • Companionship
  • Helping with personal care
  • Helping with mobility around the home
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Care Assistants with a valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes) or willingness to travel for work
  • Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
  • Licence/Certification: Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is an advantage though not always essential
  • Salary: £13.25 per hour
  • Expected hours: Variable
  • Schedule: Must be able to work alternate weekends
