Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' proven tax experience within a practice environment.
• Experience with VAT advice and Capital Gains Tax planning.
• Strong capabilities in providing tax guidance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle tax compliance for a mixed client portfolio.
• Support the Senior Management Team on complex tax projects.
• Train and support staff on tax matters.
• Maintain regular client contact and provide ongoing support.

Job Role

To deliver high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to clients within the Agriculture and Property Team. To support the development of the practice under supervision, while continuously enhancing personal expertise in relevant tax areas to ensure clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date advice.

Location: Banbury

Salary Package: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities

• Handle tax compliance for a mixed client portfolio
• Work with the Senior Management Team on complex tax projects including:
  • Inheritance Tax appraisals and planning
  • VAT advice
  • Stamp Duty Land Tax advice
  • Capital Gains Tax planning and compliance
  • Liaising with HMRC on investigations
• Review and assist with tax returns
• Train and support staff on tax matters.
• Provide tax support to other departments as and when required.
• Maintain regular client contact.
• Attend relevant training to meet CPD requirements.
• Support the development and growth of the Agriculture and Property team.
