Tax Semi Senior, Cobham, Surrey with ACA and CTA Training

Are you looking to train as both a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) while working with a diverse and prestigious client base? We are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a bright and motivated Tax Semi Senior to join a friendly and well-established accountancy practice in Cobham, Surrey.

This role offers excellent exposure to corporate and private client tax work, giving you the technical and client-facing experience needed to thrive in the profession.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare corporate and personal tax returns for a range of clients
  • Support the team on tax planning and advisory work, including restructuring, IHT, and share schemes
  • Conduct tax research and help draft reports for clients
  • Assist with HMRC correspondence and tax investigations
  • Build client relationships and contribute to delivering proactive tax advice

About You

  • We are keen to hear from ambitious individuals who are passionate about a long-term career in tax. You will ideally bring:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a tax role within an accountancy firm
  • A solid understanding of corporate tax, personal tax, or both
  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and a genuine interest in pursuing ACA and CTA qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to learning and managing full-time work alongside study
  • A desire to build a future in the local professional services market
