Job Description
Client Delivery & Advisory
  • Advise asset managers, private equity firms, and investment funds on transfer pricing implications of fund structures, management fees, carried interest, and cross‑border service arrangements.
  • Lead transfer pricing aspects of M&A, deals, and corporate restructuring, including valuations, intangibles, and financing arrangements.
  • Manage the preparation of OECD‑compliant transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking analyses, and country‑by‑country reporting (CbCR) requirements.
  • Support clients with APAs, MAPs, and tax audits related to asset management and deal structures.
  • Manage client relationships and address their transfer pricing needs effectively.
  • Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies for clients in the professional services sector.
  • Conduct detailed financial and economic analyses to support transfer pricing policies.
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Technical Excellence
  • Stay up to date with OECD guidance, BEPS 2.0 developments, and local transfer pricing legislation relevant to asset management and deal‑making.
  • Contribute to technical thought leadership, white papers, and client insights on evolving transfer pricing issues.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance with local and international requirements.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead project teams, providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support their development.
  • Collaborate across service lines (Deals, M&A Tax, Financial Services Tax, Valuations, and Legal) to deliver integrated solutions.
Business Development
  • Support senior leadership in identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and building strong client relationships.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to growing the firm's profile in the asset management and deals space.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client pitches and proposals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transfer Pricing Manager should have :
  • Strong technical expertise in financial services, asset management, or private equity transfer pricing issues.
  • Exposure to deal‑related work (transactions, restructurings, valuations, financing arrangements) highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in transfer pricing within the professional services industry.
  • In‑depth knowledge and experience of UK tax regulations and transfer pricing guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
