A global food service provider is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham. As a Talent Acquisition Partner on a 6‑month fixed term contract, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business secures the right people at the right time to deliver on its goals. You will be a trusted advisor to our operational teams, while also acting as a champion for employer brand, candidate experience, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
You will proactively source, attract, and engage talent across a range of business areas, using market intelligence and a suite of leading resourcing tools. You will also support hiring managers in developing best‑practice recruitment capability, enabling them to successfully self‑serve where appropriate.
This is a highly collaborative role that will place you at the heart of our people and operations network—representing Compass externally as an employer of choice, and ensuring internal teams understand and uphold our recruitment principles and processes.
Your work will help us evolve, refine, and optimise our resourcing strategy as we continue to grow in a fast‑paced and dynamic business landscape.
Analyse daily attraction data to identify underperforming roles and use market insight tools to understand the root causes.
Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner and Hiring Managers to address challenges and implement targeted attraction campaigns.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements, expectations, and team needs.
Utilise a variety of sourcing methods—job boards, search tools, social media, talent pools, and referrals—to identify and attract quality candidates.
Screen and assess candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Conduct phone, video, or face‑to‑face interviews and provide structured feedback to hiring managers.
Coordinate and guide the hiring process, including offers, reference checks, and onboarding‑related activities.
Monitor frontline recruitment activity and flag trends or concerns, working with operational managers to identify solutions.
Develop and maintain active talent pipelines to support future workforce planning.
Deliver an engaging, inclusive, and professional candidate experience from application to offer.
Track and report recruitment performance, insights, and trends. This list is not exhaustive.
