Bolton School – a leading independent school with excellent sports and leisure facilities open to the community and commercial clients year‑round.

BSS Leisure Services is recruiting experienced Level 2 Swim Teachers to deliver the expanding Bolton School Swim Scheme. The role involves teaching swimming classes primarily in the evenings and on weekends.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach swimming lessons to pupils in line with the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
  • Plan and organise swim sessions, ensuring safety and effective learning outcomes.
  • Maintain and follow up on attendance records and pupil progress.
  • Engage with parents and school staff to support pupil development.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Level 2 Swim Teacher.
  • Understanding of the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming (desirable).
  • Strong customer‑focused attitude, initiative, and flexibility with working hours.

Bolton School, with roughly 2,500 pupils, is an academically selective day school situated on a 32‑acre campus a mile from the town centre.
