Company Mission

Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children. Since 1981, British Swim School has been on a mission to stop that. We are a nationwide company with over 200 locations teaching more than 20,000 students every week to help save lives.

Responsibilities

• Teach students of all ages in accordance with the British Swim School aquatics program. Training is provided if you are not already an expert instructor.
• Promote water safety and a lifelong love of swimming.
• Be available to work year-round with potential for longer-term employment (not a seasonal/only-summer role).
• Work weekend mornings (Saturday or Sunday or both) from 8:30am–2:00pm and start weekdays at 3:30pm.
• Arrive with reliable transportation to location(s) as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a swimmer with understanding of all four strokes preferred.
• Love working with children and helping them progress.
• Upbeat, enjoys having fun at work; having fun is mandatory.
• Ability to commit to a year-round role and schedule.
• Reliable transportation to area locations.

Most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Instructors should enjoy working with this age group and making parents comfortable. Experience with children is helpful but not required if you can show the right attitude. The job includes training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
