Qualifications

  • CICES/RICS membership or working towards it with substantial survey experience.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Survey/Geodesy; strong Maths & Science background.
  • Expert in Trimble, Leica, Topcon instruments and associated software.
  • Proficient in CAD (2D/3D) and survey software including AutoCAD, TBC, Leica Infinity.

Engineering Manager - Infrastructure
Location - Leiston, Suffolk
What you will be doing

Galliford Try are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager on our brand-new £124m highways project as part of the development of Sizewell C. You will lead a skilled survey team, delivering precise survey control, topographical and as-built surveys, and critical data for complex civil and earthworks projects

  • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the survey team
  • Lead and advise the survey team on all construction activities
  • Maintain accurate site survey control networks for seamless project delivery
  • Collect, interpret, and report survey data to track assets and progress
  • Deliver topographical, setting out, as-built, and GNSS surveys with precision
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, consultants, BIM, and GIS teams for smooth execution
  • Drive Quality Assurance for all survey processes and data management
  • Manage permits to dig and ground disturbance procedures efficiently
About you
  • CICES/RICS membership (or working towards) with substantial survey experience
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Survey/Geodesy; strong Maths & Science background
  • Expert in Trimble, Leica, Topcon instruments and associated software
  • Proficient in CAD (2D/3D) and survey software including AutoCAD, TBC, Leica Infinity
  • Excellent English communication, documentation, and experience with Method Statements & Risk Assessments
