A healthcare service provider in Liverpool is seeking an enthusiastic administrator to support the Minor Surgery department. Responsibilities include managing appointments, handling referrals, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with EMIS, Word, and Excel, and a minimum of 1 year in an NHS setting. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient service delivery within a friendly team environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator which has arisen at Longview Surgical Services - 25 hours per week Monday to Friday.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to work within our busy Minor Surgery department, serving the local community. The candidate will be responsible for the running of the Minor Surgery reception, as well as managing the administration including managing incoming referrals, arranging appointments, scanning and managing case notes, managing follow up's. The candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Surgical Services Co-ordinator and ENT clinicians.
Experience with Word and Excel.
A minimum of 1 year experience with EMIS is essential.
To act as first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Clinicians and their team. To monitor the appointment schedule of the clinical team. To communicate appointment and admission related information to patients and/or carers. To manage the clinical stock inventory. To support the administrative pathway ensuring patients are seen within the mandatory waiting time target. To produce clinical letters and liaise with external colleagues such as GP surgeries and local Hospitals. To communicate appointment and admission related information to patients and/or carers. Experience with Word and Excel desirable.
We provide a Minor Surgery and ENT service to all neighbouring GP practices, based at Longview Surgical Services in Huyton.
