Job summary

The role involves guiding daily routines, advocating for emotional wellbeing, and ensuring access to education and employment. Ideal candidates will have experience working with young people and a level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare. Responsibilities

  • Supporting young people in their daily routines cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal organisation.
  • Encouraging positive emotional wellbeing and resilience through consistent caring relationships.
  • Helping young people access education, training, or employment opportunities.
  • Advocating for young people and promoting their voice in decisions that affect them.
  • Keeping clear accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
  • Working closely with Local Authorities, social workers, and partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes.

Job description

At Homes for Support youll play a key role in helping young people aged 1621 including care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children build confidence develop independence and prepare for adulthood.

Youll provide day-to-day guidance emotional support and practical help that empowers young people to thrive and achieve their personal goals.
