Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care:

- Support with mobility and use of aids or adaptations as required.
- Daily Living Activities:
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, household tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Help with shopping, budgeting, and managing household supplies.
- Medication Support:
- Administer or prompt clients to take prescribed medications in line with their care plan.
- Record medication administration accurately.
- Social and Emotional Support:
- Build positive relationships with clients and foster an atmosphere of trust and respect.
- Encourage clients to engage in social, recreational, or community activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve well-being.
- Health and Safety:
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate professionals.
- Ensure the safety of clients by following all safeguarding procedures and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including care plans, logs, and incident reports.
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and health and safety procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Full UK Driving License (preferred, but not mandatory for all roles).
