A local support service in Crawley is seeking a Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant to aid a gentleman in achieving independent living. The role involves various personal care tasks, including hoisting, toileting, and meal assistance, throughout the day. Ideal candidates are respectful, reliable, and have experience with health conditions such as head injuries and diabetes. The pay starts at £14.00 per hour, rising to £15.00 after a six-month probation period.

MONDAY - SUNDAY 2 hours of a morning starting either 8 or 9am. 1 1/2 hours starting approx. 5pm. 2 people required 1 hour starting 10pm
£14.00 raising to £15 once 6 month probation completed
I live at home in Crawley but need help to achieve a level of independent living. I have several health issues, but these can be managed with good, efficient and skilled carers.
Staff will need a wide range of caring skills which will reflect my lifestyle and choices. Whilst most of the care will be done at home, there will be times when I am hospitalised and carers may be expected to work their shifts alongside the medical staff ensuring my safety always.
I have a head injury, Sleep apnoea, and I am registered blind with Diabetes Type 2. I am a wheelchair & hoist user, so experience of any or all these conditions will be an advantage.
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
