Overview

Support Worker - Male only – Community Integrated Care, Nottingham Arnold, NG5

Permanent, Full-time. 45 hours per week. The successful applicant would be expected to fulfil a variety of shifts – Earlies, Lates, Long Days and Nights.

Note: This role requires a male colleague as a genuine occupational requirement defined by the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities
  • Support three gents with autism and learning disabilities to achieve aspirational goals and become more independent, helping them make their own choices each day.
  • Spend the whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives.
  • Engage in activities of interest with the people supported (e.g., visiting garden centres, exploring new places, trying new things).
What you’ll be supporting & the role

We are looking for Experienced Support Workers to join our team in Arnold, Nottingham (NG5). The service supports three men with autism and learning disabilities.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Patience; empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others; strong work ethic; reliability; honesty; determination.
  • Experience as a Support Worker preferred.
