Job summary

Job description

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

As Keane Premier Support Services continually seek to grow, we have new and exciting opportunities for compassionate and hard-working individuals.

You will work as part of the KPSS team to support service users in the community to help promote their independence.

Please note that whilst this role is primarily for the Hamilton area, you may be expected to work in other parts of South Lanarkshire as and when required.

Main responsibilities:
  • Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
  • Support service users with medication where required.
  • Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
  • Carry out light house duties.
  • Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
  • Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
  • Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.
  • At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
  • Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving License is highly desirable
