For Support Worker positions although an understanding of the role is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.

The role
  • You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
  • Facilitating social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice.
  • The role requires you to undertake all aspects of day to day household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
  • Our young people also need to be supported to manage their personal care and hygiene.
