Overview

Creative Support is looking for a dynamic, reliable and proactive Weekend Support Worker to join our energetic staff team in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. At this bespoke development, we provide quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs including Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy and Autism.

No two days will be the same at this vibrant service in Bidford, as our service users love to take part in a wide range of activities at home and out in the community. Activities can include shopping trips to Birmingham, attending work and college, visiting the Sea Life centre and many more! The service is located in Bidford-on-Avon and has great transport links. It is an easy commute from Eavesham, Stratford, Birmingham, Worcester and Redditch.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend support to service users with learning disabilities, cerebral palsy and autism, enabling participation in a range of activities at home and in the community.
• Support activities such as shopping trips, work and college attendance, and recreational outings (e.g., visits to Sea Life Centre) as part of the service users’ routines.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and engaging living environment in line with Creative Support’s development pathway and WE CARE framework.
