Overview

£12.82 per hour | Full time | Bennett Court

Make a meaningful difference supporting disabled adults in 12 modern, self-contained flats. You’ll provide personal care, help with appointments, medication, daily living skills, budgeting, and support people to enjoy activities and access the local community. With a welcoming, accessible environment across three floors, it’s a rewarding role where you can truly empower others to live independently.

A home, not just a service

Bennett Court in Nailsea offers supported living for up to 12 adults with learning disabilities. Leonard Cheshire provides high-quality person-centred care and helps people build crucial independent living skills.

What you’ll do
  • Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
  • Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
  • Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
  • Keep clear, accurate records
  • Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms
  • No previous care experience? No problem – we’ll give you all the training you need.
Working hours and shifts
  • You’ll need to be flexible as the role includes split shifts, long shifts and weekends as part of a rota.
  • Typical shifts may include:
    • Short shifts: 7am - 9am and 4pm to 10pm - (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
    • Long shifts: 7am/8am - 9pm/10pm (Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday)
