A charity focused on individuals with disabilities is seeking a Support Worker in Kettering. This permanent role requires a full manual UK driving license and involves supporting individuals with dual sensory impairments in various activities. Do you want to make a positive change to peoples lives? We have an exciting opportunity at Sense to work as a Support Worker in our Kettering Residential Home.
This is a permanent role, 30 hours per week. The shift patterns are Monday to Sunday, 7:00am4:00pm and 4:00pm10:00pm with the requirement to work alternate weekends. A full manual UK driving license is required as we have a manual company vehicle used to take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
At our Residential home we support 6 individuals with dual sensory impairments. As a Support Worker, you will help participate in a wide range of activities that support health and wellbeing both within the home and in the local community. There may also be personal care involved.
The individuals enjoy going for picnics in the park, shopping, going to the cinemas, visiting the library, museum and an art gallery. We also have a large garden in our home which is accessible to all individuals.
