Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Diss area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.

This service provides support for people with dementia and offers various types of care, including nursing, residential, and respite care.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

As a Support Worker, your key duties include:

  • Being an essential part of the team, promoting well-being and providing high-quality care to residents.
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care, support with personal hygiene, outings, and companionship.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting vulnerable individuals with their routines and activities.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping at all times.

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • A genuine desire to care for others.
  • A good team player.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude.

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour, with an annual salary of £23,587.20. We currently have permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts.
