Qualifications

  • Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar healthcare role preferred.
  • Valid UK Driver's License.
  • Enhanced DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.

  • Support young people with Autism, ADHD, and complex healthcare needs.
  • Work as part of a committed team in various shifts.
  • Create safe and nurturing environments for young people.

  • Experience working with young people with learning difficulties and complex needs
  • Understanding of therapeutic and positive behaviour support approaches
  • Mandatory Training or Care Certificate (including practical Moving & Handling)
  • Oliver McGowan Training
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Medication Awareness
  • Ability to support non-verbal communication (e.g., Makaton or PECS)
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
