We are seeking a compassionate Community Care Worker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need within the community. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Support clients with mobility and undertake heavy lifting when necessary
  • Manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in their homes or nursing facilities
  • Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs, including hospice care if required
Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a nursing home or hospice setting
  • Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
  • Ability to drive to clients' homes or care facilities as needed
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • A caring and empathetic approach to delivering care services
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care would be advantageous
