A sports organization in Manchester is looking for a Support Analyst to provide analytical support to the team. Lancashire Cricket Club was formed in 1864 and is one of eighteen first class counties within the domestic structure of England and Wales. The Club’s home, Emirates Old Trafford, is an award‑winning world‑class venue which is recognised as one of the UK’s most prestigious and versatile spaces for sport, business, leisure and entertainment, with the capacity for up to 50,000 concert goers; 26,000 spectators for international cricket and events and meeting spaces that can cater for up to 2,000 attendees. The stadium is home to a 150‑bedroom Hilton Garden Inn hotel, which has 85 pitch‑facing rooms, and an on‑site Caffè Nero.
The successful candidate will provide analytical support to the analysis team and will be primarily focused on Academy and county age group games. This focus will include the capturing of match footage and then reviewing the data and producing reports at the request of the coaches. They will also get the chance to work directly with the first team during busy periods of the summer, helping code matches and working with the head of analysis and 1st team analyst to produce data that gives the professional teams a competitive advantage.
