Overview

This client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a highly experienced supply chain team within a world-class manufacturing organisation. Based in Buckinghamshire, this permanent full-time role offers hybrid working flexibility and a competitive salary of up to £42,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Reporting to the Master Scheduler and wider management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth allocation of global sales orders. You will collaborate closely with Customer Service, Business Development, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams to uphold strict SLA compliance and deliver on-time schedules across international markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Allocate and manage global sales orders in line with production schedules and SLA requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment
  • Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production planning
  • Utilise Oracle, Excel, and Outlook to manage capacity planning and order processing
  • Liaise extensively with global clients, maintaining high standards of communication
  • Analyse forecasts and trends to optimise supply chain performance
  • Support purchase order management and MRP system accuracy
Key requirements
  • Educated to A Level Standard (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar supply chain planning role within manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and production scheduling
  • Proficiency in Oracle, Excel, and Outlook
  • Can demonstrate experience in global communication and capacity planning
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, articulate and resilient approach
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems and purchase order processes
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on high-volume, high-value order management
