Overview

PepsiCo Industrial Placements - Supply Chain 2026-2027 Cohort. You will join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month placement programme starting in July 2026 on a full-time basis. The programme provides you with the opportunity to work on projects that matter and develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic undergraduates to contribute to our 4,500-strong Supply Chain team, with sites including our Quaker Oats Mill in Cupar and the Walkers Crisp factory in Leicester. As an undergraduate placement student, you will have autonomy to influence outcomes and build experience across multiple sites and functions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and own projects from inception through to handover, ensuring key project milestones and phasing are identified and followed (Project Management).
  • Seek opportunities for productivity improvements and own data collection and improvements.
  • Act as an interface for the project on site, coordinating with teams such as Operations, Finance, Engineering and Quality.
  • Lead Operations Teams as appropriate for each project, ensuring adequate resources are allocated.
  • Cross-UK communication of projects to capture best practices.
  • Work with cross-site and functional teams to support planning, upscaling and deployment of new product specifications and requirements.
  • Own project management and support the development and deployment of capital investment programs, including automation equipment where applicable.
  • Deliver real-life objectives that contribute to the department and develop your skills during the placement.
Qualifications
  • Students currently in their penultimate year of university, with the option to complete a sandwich placement before returning to study.
  • Target degree path: Business Management or closely related disciplines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge established ways of doing things.
