NEW VACANCY! (PK9102)

Our Client is currently seeking a Supply Chain Assistant with some planning experience to support the efficient flow of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures timely procurement, inventory control, and coordination with suppliers and internal teams to maintain production schedules and meet customer demand.

You may be required to work additional hours to meet the demands of the role, additionally 3 Saturdays per year for quarterly stock take.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Support: Assist in ordering and expediting raw materials and components from approved suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Track stock levels and update inventory systems.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Planning / Scheduling: Review Raw Material availability for newly planned orders.
  • Support the Planner in the management and entry of new manufacturing jobs.
  • Supplier & Internal Communication: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Data & Reporting: Update ERP systems with accurate supply chain data.
  • Generate reports on inventory, lead times, and supplier performance.
