Job Introduction

2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites.

2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

Role Overview

Supply Chain Assistants are at the heart of the hospital delivery system. Working within the procurement team, they perform a vital role ensuring that the hospital teams have full stocks of crucial materials and equipment. They manage ordering, delivery and storage of vital medical and non-medical equipment.

They will manage a range of wards, departments and theatres, providing a full complement of consumable and reusable products on behalf of 2gether Support Solutions Ltd to its East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust customer. They will work to a strict schedule for re-order of products, using multiple ordering systems, and distribution and restocking of deliveries via roll cages and trollies in line with manual handling policies.

They will work closely with 2gether staff and customer staff to ensure the products provided meet technical requirements and are provided to agreed authorisation levels. Supply Chain Assistants are the initial contact to deal with queries, requests and complaints from customers, and provide support and assistance on matters related to the wider Procurement Service where needed.
