What you will do:

  • Provide regular support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to care effectively for children, prioritising well-being and development.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of foster carers, including Form F assessments, and carry out annual reviews to ensure continued suitability and compliance with regulations.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate access to relevant training opportunities for foster carers, supporting their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, education staff, and healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s care.
  • Address safeguarding concerns promptly and in accordance with statutory guidelines, maintaining a safe environment for children.
