Job description

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to work in our North service based in our Doncaster office covering carers in Doncaster, and surrounding areas. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some work completed from home, face‑to‑face meetings with foster carers across the service. You would join a thriving and growing community of foster carers and a team of staff with a strong, welcoming, and child‑centred ethos. Five Rivers works from a Trauma‑informed (ATIC) model, integrating our fostering, residential, clinical, and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. Teams are supported by a psychologist and a therapeutic practitioner, who are also foster support workers and business support coordinators. This, alongside manageable workloads, means social workers have the time and resources they need to provide high‑quality support to their foster families. To find out more about our fostering service https://five-rivers.org/fostering/. You will directly support our foster carers with realistic caseloads, which enables a higher level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention.

  • Access to high‑quality training & career progression opportunities
  • Market‑related salary plus on‑call allowance plus car allowance
  • Pension scheme and access to employee assistance program

  • Enhanced maternity leave package for mothers who have been with us for over one year.
  • Simplyhealth membership
