Supervising Social Worker – Birmingham

Salary: £40,000-42,400 a year, depending on experience. Full‑time, permanent.

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a dedicated Supervising Social Worker (SSW) to join its client's Fostering Service based in Birmingham. In this role, you will supervise foster parents and children's social workers, ensuring they meet national minimum standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • The desire to be a team player who wants to achieve best possible outcomes for all our children and foster carers
  • Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care
  • Hold a formal social work qualification
  • Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England
  • Have a valid driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK
  • You will be part of the West Midlands team that is based out of the Coleshill office, offering direct support to our families with a realistic caseload (10-12 families). Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, to enable foster parents to be informed, accept, understand and operate within the regulations and national minimum standards.
