A leading consultancy firm in London offers a summer placement for university students in quantity surveying. Interns will develop technical and consultancy skills while working on various projects. As a placement with Turner & Townsend you will have the opportunity to develop first class consultancy skills and work with industry leading clients on some of the most exciting projects across the UK. From day one, you’ll dive into the heart of Turner & Townsend, building your internal networks and deepening your understanding of our industry and service area.
We provide summer placements for students in their penultimate year at university but will consider those in their first year or second year of a four year course. The placements usually start in June and will last 8 weeks. This placement is suitable for anyone wanting to gain an insight into the construction industry and the projects we work on.
If you complete a placement with us, you will have the opportunity to fast-track on to another placement or directly on to the Graduate Development Programme. Your fast-track route will be determined by the amount of time you have left at university. If you are returning to university for your final year, we will be able to fast-track you straight on to the GDP.

Cost Management is a core discipline at Turner & Townsend, focused on delivering value for money across the lifecycle of a project. It involves managing costs from initial feasibility through to final delivery, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.
To be considered for roles in the Defence arena, you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance. This process will begin once you’ve accepted an offer and confirmed your willingness to undergo the checks.
