The Role

We are seeking a committed and experienced English Teacher to lead the English and Literacy curriculum across KS3 and KS4 in a specialist SEMH provision. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students to achieve GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications, and leading whole-school literacy initiatives. You will also work closely with SLT to develop tailored interventions and reading programmes that re-engage learners and improve outcomes.

This role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent behaviour management, and a trauma-informed approach to teaching. You must be adaptable, empathetic, and confident in leading a team.
