Overview

Studio / Café Manager

£26,000 p/a + bonuses

40 hours per week (overtime available)

Sunderland City Centre

We’re looking for a Studio / Café Manager to help us launch and run an exciting new hybrid space: part coffee shop, part creative studio.

This isn’t your average café job. We’re building something fresh, fast-moving and full of opportunity, so we need someone confident, adaptable and ready to grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Running the day-to-day café operations (barista experience is a big plus, but not essential).
• Welcoming and building relationships with our customers and creative community.
• Managing stock, rota, and keeping the space organised and thriving.
• Getting involved in events, launches and new ideas as we grow the brand.
• Optional: Opportunities to support our creative team with projects such as video editing or design if this is something that interests you.

What we’re looking for

• A friendly, go-getter who thrives in a start-up environment.
• Someone confident running a space and making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Barista or hospitality experience preferred but not required, we’ll train the right person.
• A creative streak or interest in video, design, or digital content is a bonus but not a must.
• Flexible, hands-on, and eager to grab opportunities when they come up.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and bank holidays when required.
