Job summary

A leading educational institution in Birmingham is seeking a Wellbeing Adviser to join their Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. The role includes providing direct wellbeing advice, supporting students with mental health issues, and assisting in crisis management. Ideal candidates will have a degree or equivalent, counselling skills, and experience in a health-related environment. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary ranging from £38,050 to £44,131 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the range of health and wellbeing issues that may affect students.
  • Experience in crisis management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual students with direct support and information related to wellbeing issues.
  • Assist in coordinating the University’s approach to care leavers.
  • Promote health and emotional wellbeing across the University.
