Position Overview

Lead Learning Manager

Are you passionate about putting students first and shaping a supportive safe learning environment

Outwood Grange Academy are seeking a proactive and dedicated Lead Learning Manager to champion student welfare safeguarding and positive mental health within our academy. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to making a significant difference in our students lives by helping them secure a brighter future. This is more than a job; its a chance to be the single most crucial point of contact for student support and protection.

As the Lead Learning Manager you will be line managing the Learning Manager team; communicating clear purpose and vision to ensure students have the support they require to maximise the student attainment. Additionally you will work closely with the Inclusion Team to monitor and ensure the effectiveness of student strategies and interventions.

This a rewarding role that combines strategic leadership with hands‑on welfare work as such it is central to our Students First commitment. You will have a positive impact on all of our students including our looked after children (LAC) by overseeing the support and tracking the ensuring timely completion of TPEPs / EPEPs. We are committed to promoting and supporting positive student mental health which you will contribute towards by engaging with external professionals and leading the Trust Mental Health Strategy.

We believe that all support staff within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences.

32423.30 to 34974.71

Hours

37 hours per week during term time plus five days.

Start Date

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible.
