  • Ensure smooth delivery of student 'firsts' such as airport transfers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all students and visitors.
  • Oversee planning and promotion of student activities.
  • Evaluate opportunities for process improvement in student experience.
  • Support accommodation functions through allocation and record keeping.

Position Summary

As a Student Services Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in welcoming students from around the world, supporting them throughout their journey, and ensuring their time with EC is nothing short of unforgettable. You’ll be their go-to guide and problem solver, helping them feel at home from their first day in Brighton to their last.

This is a fast‑paced, people‑focused role perfect for someone who thrives in an international environment, loves creating exceptional experiences and takes pride in making every interaction count.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of student “firsts” including airport transfers, arrival at residences, and homestay families, and the operational aspects of the student’s first day.
  • Act as the first point of contact and advisor for all students and visitors to the Centre, ensuring they are all dealt with in a courteous and professional manner, providing the necessary advice and assistance, and effectively dealing with any requests and feedback.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and promotion of student activities.
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvement and service applications that positively impact the student’s experience.
  • Support the accommodation function through the allocation of residences and homestay families and maintaining an up‑to‑date system of all necessary records.

Experience Desired
  • Has personally travelled as a language student
  • Customer Service experience within an EFL context or similar
