Our Client

Is a leading Construction company operating in the structural steel sector. They provide turn key solutions from cradle to grave of the supply and installation of off the shelf or bespoke steel structures into numerous sectors.

The Role

The Structural Steelwork Estimator will review tender drawings alongside conducting quantity take-offs, prepare detailed material and labour cost estimates for structural steelwork. The Estimator will collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services while analysing project risks and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the Estimator will prepare comprehensive and professional quotations.

The Person

You must have experience in structural steelwork fabrication estimating and it would be beneficial, but not essential, if the steelwork involved was load bearing. A good understanding of construction methods, specifications, and the ability to read, understand and measure drawings. Finally, display high capability of extracting quantities from drawings and ensure that accurate pricing is delivered within specified time frames
