We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers 1-2 days working from home for the right candidate.

Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £70,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Full-time, permanent, with hybrid working flexibility

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects
  • Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform connection design using industry-standard software such as IDEA StatiCa and TEKLA
  • Ensure all designs comply with UK regulations, codes, and standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Support project delivery from concept through to completion
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and best practice sharing
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Member of Civil Engineering
  • Experience using IDEA StatiCa and TEKLA
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design, and detailing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
  • Willingness to work on-site when required
