Strategic Growth Manager

As the Strategic Growth Manager – EMEA at Aon, you’ll report to the Chief of Staff to the Head of Commercial Risk, working closely with the CRS EMEA leadership. You’ll orchestrate regional strategy, link local business priorities to global initiatives, and drive the growth agenda through data-driven insight, cross-functional collaboration, and purposeful execution.

What the day will look like

  • Lead development and execution of annual and multi-year strategic plans for EMEA, balancing global priorities with local business dynamics.
  • Act as the strategic bridge between local offices, regional leadership, and global initiatives to ensure coherence and alignment.
  • Drive regional growth strategies for specialty businesses and broking operations, leveraging market insights and performance data.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, and new revenue streams across EMEA.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and others to embed strategic initiatives across functions.
  • Prepare leadership materials (e.g. business reviews, growth dashboards), steering governance processes and follow-ups.
  • Own and deliver high-priority regional projects end-to-end—from scoping and diagnosis to execution and post-analysis.
  • Provide tactical support to the Chief of Staff on critical initiatives, acting with autonomy and accountability.
  • Operate in a highly matrixed, regional setup with multiple stakeholder groups—colleagues across EMEA and globally.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and complexity, bringing clarity, structure, and results.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior regional leadership using data and analysis to inform decisions.
  • Build durable, authentic relationships and influence outcomes through insight and credibility rather than positional authority.

  • Possess deep knowledge of specialty risk, broking models, and consulting functions to integrate diverse business insights into strategy.
