Job summary

A national sports organization is seeking a detail-driven Strategy & Secretariat Team Assistant to support corporate governance initiatives. The successful candidate will coordinate meetings, manage travel logistics, and prepare documentation for senior leaders. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must. Qualifications

  • You must have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience coordinating multiple diaries is required.
  • Confidence in minuting meetings and handling sensitive information is needed.
  • The ability to build positive relationships at all levels is important.
  • Strong digital skills, particularly with MS Teams and Office tools, are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan forward schedules for senior meetings.
  • Manage logistics for meetings, including travel and expenses.
  • Prepare agendas, commission papers, and support authors.
  • Take accurate minutes and track follow-up actions.
  • Act as a key contact for Board and Committee members.
  • Maintain high-quality records per data security requirements.
