Dudley Private Hospital is seeking a motivated Stores and Supply Manager to join us and provide procurement direction and leadership to the Stores and Supply team.

This is a great opportunity for a leader with a passion for analysis and problem solving with the ability to effectively identify and implement continuous improvement activities.

In this pivotal role you will be responsible for :
  • Coordinate and control the purchasing of goods services and equipment for the hospital
  • Ensure hospital requirements are met at the best value with appropriate quality and service standards
  • Efficiently receive store and issue of general and medical supplies and equipment
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the hospital
Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role you will be a dynamic and self‑motivated individual with the ability to lead and direct a vibrant dedicated team. You will be a strong communicator, highly organised and process driven with a strong attention to detail.

In addition you will also bring :
  • Detailed working knowledge and understanding of the supply chain and processes
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment supply role is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory and stock management including three way matching via purchase orders and goods receipting
  • Experience using SAP (highly desirable) or similar materials management system
  • Ability to work without supervision and to lead a team of staff
  • Proactive with identification and rectification of problems
  • Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge and respect of workplace health & safety issues particularly manual handling
  • Exposure to quality practices along with a willingness to identify and implement changes

Requirements
  • Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
