Overview

Customer Team Leader Location: 83/85 Wallasey Village, Wallasey, CH45 3LF
Pay: £13.99 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you\'ll need to authorise age-related sales.

We\'re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. Responsibilities
  1. Lead the store team, coaching and supervising Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of tasks (e.g., restocking shelves, cleaning up spillages).
  2. Develop your team\'s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone\'s voice is valued and respected.
  3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational; manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to create a great shopping experience.
  4. Support the Store Manager by deputising when they\'re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
  5. Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store; work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
  6. Build relationships and get involved in the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
