The Store Manager oversees store success, including sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff in line with Subway standards—lead by example!
  • Creating and managing staff schedules
  • Checking deliveries, matching orders, and handling daily banking
  • Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
  • Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local regulations
  • Inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reports
  • Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
  • Implementing in-store marketing and promotional materials in line with campaigns
  • Following safety procedures to prevent injuries
  • Providing a safe environment for staff and customers
  • Promoting high customer service standards among staff
  • Handling escalated customer complaints
  • Delivering excellent service in products, sales, and customer inquiries
