What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for inspiring and exciting your audience – staff and customers alike.
  • You will be responsible for relationship building to develop partnerships that will increase turnover, whether with staff, customers, or external associates.
  • You will lead a large and diverse team using a developed and mature approach to people management.
  • You will recognize, recruit, and develop talented individuals for advancement within and beyond the store environment.
  • You will drive business growth through new ideas and creative solutions based on KPI analysis.
  • You will stay engaged with external influences like media, culture, community, and industry trends to maximize marketing and sales opportunities.
  • You will collaborate with Merchandising, warehouse, and stock control teams to provide feedback, request products, and implement action plans to increase turnover and profitability.
  • You will ensure the store image aligns with business standards through daily floor walks, maintaining product and merchandising standards, replenishing stock, and following VM guidelines.
  • You will regularly review security measures for cash and inventory control.
  • You will maintain workplace safety and a healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • You will prepare weekly reports for stakeholders, including figures, trade snapshots, highlights, lowlights, and improvement suggestions.
  • You will manage financial responsibilities such as wage-to-sales budgets, shrinkage, and revenue.
