Job summary

A recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Stock and Quality Controller to manage inventory and stock control functions. You'll handle stock taking, organisation, and discrepancies while maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure. This is a full-time role between 8 am and 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Ability to independently manage tasks under pressure.
  • Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail for accuracy in stock counting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stock taking and cycle counting.
  • Organise and update stock records.
  • Address stock inaccuracies and discrepancies.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System for stock management.

Job description

Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit an experienced Stock and Quality Controller to join our client on a permanent basis.

Working between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

The purpose of the role is to control clients' inventory and all stock control functions. Warehouse duties as and when required.

Main responsibilities and duties
  • Stock Taking/Counting/cycle counting
  • Stock Organisation
  • Stock Updating
  • Stock investigations
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Assisting with root cause analysis
  • Support Client warehouse / stock viewing visits
  • Manage control measures to ensure all errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are identified, addressed and resolved.
  • Overall Stock Management using Warehouse Management System
  • Warehouse duties as and when required
