Stock Condition Surveyor

The Role

You will play a key part in delivering a comprehensive programme of stock condition surveys across a diverse housing portfolio. Your work will directly influence long‑term investment planning and ensure homes remain safe, compliant, and well‑maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out internal and external stock condition surveys across residential properties
  • Identify and record component lifecycles, required repairs, and compliance issues
  • Provide accurate data to support asset management and capital investment planning
  • Ensure surveys are completed in line with compliance, health & safety, and organisational policies
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of the survey programme
  • Produce clear written reports and maintain accurate digital records
About You
  • Previous experience in stock condition surveying within the housing, property, or construction sector
  • Strong understanding of building pathology, HHSRS, Decent Homes, and asset compliance
  • Confident using asset management or survey software
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
