Hours: Monday to Friday, 07 : 30 – 16 : 00

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Steel Fabricator / Welder to join a busy workshop team. This role involves producing high-quality steel components for a variety of projects, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. You’ll work with technical drawings and fabrication plans to deliver accurate and durable assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Cut, bend, and shape steel using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and / or stick welding to assemble components.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other handling equipment safely.
• Carry out finishing tasks such as grinding and drilling to meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with workshop and site teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain equipment and follow health and safety procedures at all times.
