A healthcare provider in Swindon is seeking a dynamic Staffing Coordinator to join their Temporary Staffing Team. This role involves managing the booking of temporary workers and ensuring appropriate staffing levels across the trust. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and proficiency with IT applications. A minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, along with NVQ in Customer Service or Business Administration, is required. Salary is between £24,937 to £26,598 pro rata, with various shifts and weekend work expected.

6‑Month Fixed Term/Secondment (potential to be extended for 12 Months)
This role works across a rota working 08:00 – 16:00 and 11:00 – 19:00, with the occasional weekend and bank holiday work.
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, reliable and committed individuals to join the Temporary Staffing Team.
The Temporary Staffing Team processes and manages the Medical (doctors), Nursing, Allied Health Professional and Administration & Clerical flexible workforce being utilized throughout the Trust (this includes bank and agency workers).
The post holder will work as part of the Temporary Staffing Team, assisting with the booking of temporary workers into the Roster and providing wards with appropriate staffing levels.
In addition to this, the post holder will be responsible for their own departments and will work closely with Clinical Leads, Heads of Service, Rota Coordinators, Ward Managers and Matrons to understand staffing needs, ensuring temporary staffing requirements are dealt with in a timely and cost‑effective manner by close liaison with the team and partner agencies.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as the post requires the ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and demonstrate a committed approach to providing a high‑quality service. The ideal candidate must be proficient with various IT applications to use the established e‑rostering process.

Candidates wishing to apply for this post should be aware that the Temporary Staffing Service operates Monday to Friday 08.00 – 19.00 hrs and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 08.00 – 16.00 hrs. Candidates should be prepared to work across all service hours Monday to Friday and ad hoc on a Saturday and Sunday.

To support the Trust by providing divisional level support in respect of temporary staffing cover needs, ensuring the temporary staffing requirements are dealt with in a timely and cost‑effective manner by close liaison with the team, wards and Roster Team, ensuring all flexible staffing requirements are documented as per Trust procedures and filled as appropriate via the e‑Roster system.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
